Chief Minister Coordinates Swift Rescue Operation Through Uttarakhand SEOC.
Gandhinagar : 17 Gujarati pilgrims from the Aravalli district, who had traveled to Kedarnath Dham, were trapped near Moti Lincholi in Uttarakhand because of adverse weather conditions. Upon learning of the situation, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel directed the State Emergency Operation Center to immediately coordinate the rescue efforts.
Relief Commissioner Shri Alok Pandey facilitated communication between the Gujarat SEOC and the Uttarakhand SEOC, providing details and contact information for the stranded pilgrims. Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel actively supervised the rescue operation, offering continuous guidance to the Relief Commissioner and SEOC officials.
The Uttarakhand SEOC, in coordination with the Rudraprayag District Control Room, launched an immediate rescue operation. Once the weather cleared, all the Gujarat pilgrims were airlifted to safety within a few hours. Shri Manoj Bhai, a leader of the Aravalli pilgrims, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and the SEOC officials from both Gujarat and Uttarakhand for their swift and effective response.
