Parliamentary Affairs Minister Inaugurates ₹10.84 Crore Development Projects in Luni Panchayat

Jaipur, Oct 2025: Parliamentary Affairs, Law & Legal Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel on Monday inaugurated development works worth ₹10.84 crore at the Government Senior Secondary School, Sangariya, in Luni Panchayat Samiti, Jodhpur district.

Shri Patel stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to the upliftment and welfare of all sections of society. To address regional disparities, special provisions have been made in the state budget.

Focused Urban Development:
Shri Patel said that keeping in mind the unique needs of each district, the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee District Upliftment Scheme has been initiated to ensure inclusive development. The budgets for the Dang, Magra, Mewat, and Brij regional development schemes have been increased to ₹100 crore each. The government is making serious efforts for the planned development of peri-urban areas.

Thar Border Area Development Program:
To provide better facilities to families residing near international borders, a ₹150 crore “Chief Minister Thar Border Area Development Program” has been launched. For the development of the 35 most backward blocks of the state, the Guru Golwalkar Aspirational Blocks Development Scheme with a budget of ₹75 crore has been initiated. Shri Patel added that distribution of new pattas under the Rural Service Camps’ Ownership Scheme has provided strong support to villagers.

Recruitment and Employment:
Shri Patel said that the government aims to provide 4 lakh government jobs in five years. So far, 91,000 youth have been appointed through various employment fairs, and recruitment for 1.54 lakh positions is underway.

Modern Healthcare Access:
The minister noted that the establishment of a satellite hospital in Sangariya will provide modern medical facilities locally, reducing the burden on major city hospitals and saving time and resources.

School Development:
At the same school, repairs worth ₹5 lakh will be carried out from MLA funds, and a classroom worth ₹8 lakh will be constructed. Additionally, ₹7 lakh from MP funds will be used for classroom construction. On Monday, the foundation for 234 development works worth ₹10.64 crore in this Gram Panchayat was also laid.

The program was attended by Sarpanch Shri Tejaram, Deputy Sarpanch Smt. Indradevi, other local representatives, and villagers.
