Endowment Vision Realized Under CM Bhajanlal Sharma: Quality Health and Welfare Services Reach the Marginalized
Jaipur, Oct 2025 : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, significant steps taken for the welfare of women, youth, laborers, and farmers are rapidly realizing the vision of Antyodaya—bringing quality services to the most marginalized sections. From education to healthcare, availability of high-quality services and facilities is providing relief even to individuals in villages, hamlets, and small towns.
Guided by CM Sharma, the state is moving swiftly towards the goal of “Niramay Rajasthan”. The Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana is playing a key role, ensuring medical treatment for the needy and underprivileged. Under this scheme, 73 day-care packages for serious illnesses like cancer, 419 pediatric packages for infants, and cashless treatment for 8 lakh senior citizens are being provided. Under the Ma Voucher Scheme, 25,000 pregnant women receive free monthly services through 1,363 authorized private sonography centers, with over 2.48 lakh women issued QR-coded coupons.
The Lado Protsahan Yojana is another initiative supporting the Antyodaya vision. Under this scheme, poor families receive a savings bond of ₹1.5 lakh upon the birth of a girl child. So far, nearly 4.18 lakh girls have benefitted from the first installment.
For women’s empowerment, schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and subsidized LPG cylinders for BPL families at ₹450 are being extended through the Chief Minister LPG Subsidy Scheme, benefiting an additional 67.97 lakh households under the National Food Security Scheme. Since September 2024, ₹558 crore has been disbursed as subsidies.
Under the Shri Annapurna Kitchens, coarse grains like millet and sorghum have been included in meals. Meal portions increased from 450g to 600g, and state subsidies raised from ₹17 to ₹22 per plate. So far, 4.3 crore rural meals and 8.87 crore urban meals have been served.
For laborers, street vendors, and folk artists, the Mukhyamantri Vishwakarma Pension Scheme provides ₹3,000 monthly pension at age 60. Under the PM Street Vendor Atma Nirbhar Nidhi Scheme (PM SVANidhi), loans have been distributed to 1.89 lakh beneficiaries, including second and third loans for additional recipients. The CM Swanidhi Scheme has benefited 1,271 unorganized sector workers. The CM Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme provided employment to 5 lakh families, spending ₹343 crore.
For nomadic and denotified tribes, the CM Nomadic Residential Housing Scheme was implemented on 22 October 2024. Under the Namaste Scheme, 2,967 sanitation workers received self-employment training. The social security pension process has been fully digitalized and paperless.
Pensions for low-income elderly, widows, single women, persons with disabilities, and marginal farmers have been raised to ₹1,250 per month. Under RTE for the 2024-25 academic year, approximately 2.04 lakh new students received free admission, and private schools were reimbursed ₹968 crore in fees.
Under CM Bhajanlal Sharma, the state has made significant strides in ensuring equitable welfare, health services, and social security, making Antyodaya a tangible reality.
