Chief Minister offers prayers to Lord Shiva for the happy life of UP’s citizens
Gorakhpur : On the third Monday of the sacred month of Shravan, Gorakshapeethadhiswar and the esteemed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek at the ancient Manasarovar temple in Andhiyari Bagh. This ceremony, a powerful prayer for the happiness and prosperity of the state’s people, saw CM Yogi offering Bilva Patra, Lotus flowers, Durva, and other worship materials to Lord Mahadev.
The ritual, which included the recitation of the Rudrashtadhyayi from the Shukla Yajurveda Samhita by the learned priests of the Gorakhnath temple, was a solemn and important event. Following the Rudrabhishek, the Chief Minister completed the ceremony with a Havan and Aarti, accompanied by Vedic chanting, praying for a healthy, happy, prosperous, and peaceful life for the state’s people.
