Police Observer Gagandeep Gambhir Inspects Sensitive Areas Ahead of Anta Assembly Bypoll 2025
Jaipur, Oct 2025: Police Observer Gagandeep Gambhir, appointed by the Election Commission of India for the Anta Assembly Bypoll 2025, reviewed the law and order situation and security arrangements in the constituency, conducting inspections across various areas.
During her visit to the Anta-Palayatha check post, Gambhir reviewed the ongoing checking operations conducted by the joint teams. She examined the check post arrangements, record maintenance, and vehicle inspection procedures. Later, she inspected the strong room located at Boys College with local administrative officials, assessing the security setup and directing them to ensure all necessary safety measures are in place.
The Police Observer also carried out area domination inspections in Sorsan, Anta, Siswali, and Moondli. She instructed the concerned police officers to conduct regular patrolling in their respective areas and maintain strong law and order to ensure that the election process is conducted peacefully and fairly.
Gambhir inspected sensitive and highly sensitive polling stations in the Mangrol region, including Bohat, Bhatwara, Jaloda Tejaji, Mal Bambori, and Raksapuriya, directing officials to remain alert and active to prevent any kind of disorder or intimidation on polling day.
She also inspected highly sensitive polling centers under the Baran Sadar Police Station area—Bamla and Kotdi Tulsa—and instructed that adequate police forces be deployed at all polling stations to ensure that voters can cast their votes freely and fearlessly.
During the inspection, ADM Bhawar Lal Janagal, ASP Rajesh Chaudhary, along with police and liaison officers, were present. Gagandeep Gambhir emphasized that ensuring a peaceful, free, and fair election as per the Election Commission’s mandate is the top priority. She directed officials to take prompt action on any complaints or suspicious activities.
