Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Offers Arghya to the Sun at Duldula Chhath Ghat, Prays for the Prosperity and Well-being of the State
Raipur, Oct 2025 : Chief Minister Sai Announces Beautification of Duldula Chhath Ghat
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai participated in the sacred rituals of Chhath Mahaparv today at the Duldula Chhath Ghat in Jashpur district, offering Arghya (obeisance) to the Sun God and praying for the peace, prosperity, and happiness of the people of Chhattisgarh.
Extending heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the citizens on the occasion of Chhath Puja, the Chief Minister said it was a matter of great fortune for him to be part of this holy festival.
He expressed gratitude for the trust and affection of the people, stating that it is this faith that has given him the opportunity to serve the public. He reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the region and to fulfilling the expectations of the people through continuous efforts.
Responding to the demand of the local residents, the Chief Minister announced the beautification of Duldula Chhath Ghat. He assured that the work would be completed before the next Chhath festival. He also mentioned that the beautification of the Kunkuri Chhath Ghat, undertaken at a cost of around ₹5.17 crore, has already been completed, where women devotees are performing the rituals this year with full devotion and reverence.
The event was attended by District Panchayat Vice President Shri Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev, Janpad Panchayat Duldula President Shri Ramkumar Singh, Inspector General Shri Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Shri Shashimohan Singh, along with women observing the Chhath fast, public representatives, and a large number of local residents.
