The new education policy implemented by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to ensure the contribution of youth in the path of progress of the country is being implemented in Chhattisgarh. Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, while addressing the initiation ceremony organized in various colleges of Balodabazar district, said that the new education policy is being successfully implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Minister Shri Tankaram Verma said that in the new education policy, emphasis has been laid on self-employment instead of jobs, so that a person can become self-reliant and provide jobs to others instead of giving himself a job. He said that in the education policy, along with studying in the mother tongue, importance has been given to the culture and civilization of the country, so that the students can become familiar with the glorious culture. He said that the latest technical knowledge has also been included in the new education policy.
Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma attended the programs of Naveen Government Mahavidyalaya Watgan, Government Brijlal Verma Mahavidyalaya Palari and Government Dau Kalyan Arts and Commerce Post Graduate College Balodabazar. In the program, he welcomed the newly admitted college students by applying tilak. On this occasion, he honored the promising students and those who performed well in the examination by giving them certificates. An attractive cultural program was presented by the students in the program.
On this occasion, Revenue Minister Shri Verma announced the approval of Rs 20 lakh for various development works of Watgan College. Out of this amount, Rs 10 lakh will be spent on the access road from the main road to the college and Rs 10 lakh will be spent on bicycle stand, boundary wall along with necessary furniture.
Addressing the program, former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agarwal said that it is our responsibility to improve the college. Together we will work for the betterment of this college. Former MLA Sanam Jangde, District Cooperative Central Bank former President Yogesh Chandrakar, Palari Nagar Panchayat Yashwardhan Verma, State Vice President of Scout Guide Vijay Kesharwani, Municipal Council President Chitavar Jaiswal, former President Ashok Jain along with other local public representatives and a large number of students and their parents participated in these programs.
