Rajasthan Expands Cancer Screening; Dialysis Centre and Mobile Van Launched in Khinsar

Jaipur, Nov 2025 — Under the initiative of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the guidance of Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinsar, cancer screening facilities are being strengthened across Rajasthan at the grassroots level to enable timely detection and save lives. In this effort, residents of villages and hamlets in Nagaur district will now have access to health check-ups closer to home. These check-ups will focus especially on cancer screening, with specialist doctors providing services. To make cancer testing accessible in rural areas, a cancer screening mobile van has been launched. On Sunday, Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinsar flagged off this mobile van.

On this occasion, the minister also formally inaugurated a dialysis centre at the Government District Hospital in Khinsar. With the launch of this centre, kidney patients in the region will receive major relief. The centre has been equipped with two dialysis machines for patient treatment.

The Health Minister said the state government aims to ensure that modern healthcare services reach every individual living in rural regions. Earlier, people had to travel far to big cities for diagnosis and treatment of major and serious diseases, but the government is now continuously working to deliver such facilities to villages and hamlets.

He said early detection of serious diseases like cancer is the first step towards treatment, and this mobile van will become a catalyst for a rural healthcare revolution.

Khinsar added that a healthy Rajasthan is the foundation of a prosperous Rajasthan. Delivering health services to villages is the government’s top priority so that every citizen can truly enjoy the right to life. The government is committed to ensuring that no person suffers due to lack of medical facilities.

During the programme, the Health Minister thanked Dr. Reemi Shekhawat, President of the FICCI Women’s Organisation, for providing and supporting the operation of the mobile van. He also welcomed Dr. Shivraj Singh Rathore, Director of Marudhar Hospital, Jaipur, for offering medical services through the cancer screening mobile van.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Jugal Kishore Saini and Dr. Ramjeet Tak, Chief Medical Officer of the Government Hospital, Khinsar, greeted the guests at the event.
