Stall Showcasing 25 Years of Achievements Draws Strong Public Interest

Raipur, Nov 2025 : A large crowd is gathering at the Tribal Welfare Department’s stall set up at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Mela Ground in Naya Raipur during the Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav. The stall, designed around the theme of 25 years of achievements, has become a major attraction for visitors. It is noteworthy that the 2025 Rajyotsav is being celebrated as the Silver Jubilee of Chhattisgarh’s State Formation Day. This year’s Rajyotsav is a five-day event being held from November 1 to 5. The celebration began on November 1 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the Silver Jubilee Rajyotsav.
The departmental stall showcases initiatives undertaken for the welfare of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Minorities. This thematic presentation is drawing special attention from visitors. Highlights include glimpses of the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum, the PM Janman initiative, the Dharati Aaba Tribal Village Utkarshta Abhiyan, the Aadi Karmayogi Campaign, exhibitions on Chhattisgarh’s tribal lifestyle, achievements of Eklavya Model Residential Schools, and a detailed display of the department’s accomplishments over the past 25 years since the formation of the state.
Additionally, various books published by the Tribal Research and Training Institute have been displayed and made available for purchase at the stall. These publications are attracting significant public interest, with a large number of books being sold during the fair.
The stall also highlights the significance and unique features of the Jaitkhamb and its site at Girodpuri Dham. Furthermore, the exhibition by the Chhattisgarh Iron Craftsmen Development Board and a dedicated selfie zone have emerged as major attractions for visitors.
