Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s Major Gift: Four Bridges to Be Built Over Streams in Jashpur District

Approval of ₹13.69 crore granted

Rural connectivity to become smoother; local development to gain new momentum

Raipur, Nov 2025 : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has approved ₹13 crore 69 lakh 21 thousand for the construction of bridges over four major streams in Jashpur district, aiming to take the region’s development to new heights. This project will not only make movement in rural areas easier but will also ensure that connectivity is not disrupted during the rainy season.

Approval has been granted for:

• ₹3.60 crore for the Duldula L-025 to Bangaon route,
• ₹2.71 crore for the Chatakpur to Bakuna route,
• ₹2.69 crore for bridge construction over the Mudaamba Muda stream, and
• ₹4.67 crore for the construction of a bridge over the Kusum stream on the Rayaamba to Makribandha route in Farsabahar.

The construction of these bridges will improve daily commuting for villagers and strengthen local trade, education, agriculture, and healthcare services.
