Spread the Message of Vande Mataram to Every Citizen: Kumawat

Jaipur, Nov 2025 : On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram, various programmes were organized in Barmer district headquarters on Sunday, including a morning march, a bike rally, a cleanliness drive, and a blood donation camp. During the event, in the presence of Minister-in-Charge Joraram Kumawat, several public representatives, administrative officials, distinguished citizens, and students, hundreds of tricolour flags waved in the air as the crowd sang and paid tribute to Mother India.

Cabinet Minister for Animal Husbandry, Gopalan, Dairy, and Devasthan, and Barmer’s Minister-in-Charge, Joraram Kumawat, said the day symbolizes pride and inspiration for everyone. He said that Vande Mataram became a source of motivation during the freedom struggle, instilling in every Indian a sense of love and sacrifice for the motherland. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by declaring this celebration a national event, has given everyone an opportunity to understand the significance of the song.

Minister-in-Charge Kumawat said that on the completion of 150 years of this iconic song, everyone should pledge to contribute through their work and dedication toward building a self-reliant and developed India. During the event at Ahimsa Circle, Minister Kumawat, Chohtan MLA Adoo Ram Meghwal, District Collector Tina Dabi, social workers Anant Ram Vishnoi, Deepak Kadwasra, and Dilip Paliwal flagged off the morning march and the bike rally. The bike rally proceeded from Ahimsa Circle to Mallinath Circle, while the morning march moved from Station Road to Shaheed Circle, where Minister Kumawat and other dignitaries paid tribute to the martyrs.

Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar, Additional District Collector Rajendra Singh Chandawat, UIT Secretary Shravan Singh Rajawat, SDM Yasharth Shekhar, ASP Arvind Jangid, and several other distinguished citizens were present at the event.
