KVK and Dhanuka Agritech Hold Mega Farmers’ Meet at Neihdawn Village

Khawzawl, Nov 2025: Today, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Khawzawl, in collaboration with Dhanuka Agritech, organized a Mega Farmers’ Meet at the Neihdawn Community Hall.

The programme was chaired by Dr. Malsawmkimi, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Khawzawl. The event was graced by Mr. Mrinmoy Baruah, Deputy General Manager (Sales), Dhanuka Agritech Limited, South Kolkata, and Mr. Dipak Debnath, Senior Sales Officer, Dhanuka Agritech Limited, Guwahati.

During the event, representatives from Dhanuka Agritech delivered presentations highlighting important information for the benefit of farmers. From KVK, Dr. Lalngaihawmi, SMS (Plant Protection), conducted a training session on the theme “Safety Use of Pesticides.”
She emphasized that proper handling of pesticides and medicines is essential for farmers’ safety and for protecting crops, livestock, and surroundings. She also mentioned that KVK experts are always ready to provide necessary guidance to farmers.

The programme also included an interactive session with the farmers.

Altogether, 80 farmers from Neihdawn village attended the event.
