Transforming the Lives of the Poorest Is Our Goal: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the ‘Panchajnya Sushasan Samwad’, describing Panchajnya as a strong carrier of India’s intellectual tradition and a symbol urging early caution and adherence to the path of Dharma. He highlighted that Lord Krishna always carried the Panchajanya and Sudarshan Chakra, symbols of his unique personality and emphasised that the education he received at the Sandeepani Ashram in Ujjain played a significant role in shaping his cosmic form. The event was held at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was honoured by RSS Madhya Bharat Sah Karyawah Shri Hemant Muktibodhand, Prant Sangh Sanchala Shri Ashok Pandey and the editor of Panchjanya Shri Hitesh Shankar.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav felicitated Shri Vijay Manohar Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication; Dr. Praveen Reddy, Director of Swami Vivekananda Health Mission Society; and Shri Abhishek Garg, Managing Director of DBG Technology.
State Government Initiates Community-Driven Festival Celebrations
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasised the government’s commitment to bettering the lives of every poor person by focusing on system reforms and efforts guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned the river-linking undertakings with Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra to equitably distribute natural resources, benefiting relatively water-scarce neighboring states as well. The government has also taken steps to imbue educational institutions with a spirit of Indianness by appointing Vice Chancellors as Gurus and celebrating major festivals like Guru Purnima and Geeta Jayanti with society, fostering an environment of joy and festivity.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to providing citizens with improved basic amenities, promoting solar energy pumps for farmers’ electricity self-reliance, and channeling subsidies saved towards development. “Various welfare schemes, including the Bhavantar Yojana, Ladli Bahana Yojana, and youth employment initiatives, are being implemented effectively. The government has also introduced key innovations such as medical colleges established under the PPP model and agriculture-oriented academic courses in universities. The PM Mitra Park project is expected to generate employment for 300,000 people.
Madhya Pradesh is developing two metropolitan areas and has passed the Metropolitan Region Planning and Development Act, 2025. The government is offering special incentives and subsidies for employment-driven industries, with regional industry conclaves expanding industrial activities at the regional level, an innovation unique to Madhya Pradesh. The Global Investors Summit, attended by Prime Minister Modi, yielded proposals exceeding ₹30 lakh crore. Projects worth ₹8 lakh crore are underway, with 6 lakh crore invested in industrial units’ foundation and inauguration. Madhya Pradesh is advancing with one of the fastest investment promotion rates in the country, maintaining 24% growth and achieving annual departmental targets.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also mentioned initiatives in wildlife conservation, tourism promotion, and the construction of cultural gateways on seven major roads in the capital to reflect the state’s culture.
