Lucknow, Nov 2025 : Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh on Monday reviewed departmental progress at Yojana Bhawan and laid out firm directives for officials. He stressed that quality education, smooth facilities, and a safe learning environment must remain top priorities, adding that no hurdle in any student’s learning or development will be tolerated. He also called for standard-based facilities for girls, fair treatment of teachers, and dedicated effort from all staff, reminding them that hard work has no substitute and comfort can become a silent obstacle.
He said the Rs 1200 DBT for children’s uniforms must reach every parent without exception. Aadhaar verification for all students must be completed, with most already verified and the remaining cases to be finished in mission mode.
Highlighting special focus on Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, the basic education minister said that the girls should not face any difficulty. Regular quality checks of all standards must be done. Regular inspection of activities is mandatory. Women officers should communicate separately with the girls. Vacant posts in the schools should be filled on priority.
The minister instructed that unnecessary show-cause notices should not be issued for a delay of 15–20 minutes. Decisions should be made only after hearing the logical reason for the delay. Action should be taken only when the cause for delay is unreasonable. He emphasized that under no circumstances should teachers’ morale go down.
Uttar Pradesh, Basic Education Minister, Sandeep Singh instructed officials to strictly monitor all schemes and their achievements must be communicated to the people. A review of compliance with all instructions will be conducted within a month, and responsibility will be assigned. He said there is no substitute for hard work and comfort is a silent killer.
Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh issued clear instructions that the composite grant must reach every school fully and on time. He said the BSA must sit at the block office for a day to resolve complaints and must conduct regular field visits to review the real situation. This is their primary responsibility. The Minister also ordered that every employee’s salary and arrears be provided on time, and there must be no delay in salary payments in aided schools either. He said negligence and delay in financial processes will not be accepted under any circumstances.
