Union Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu Meets PM Modi in Emotional Family Interaction in New Delhi

New Delhi/Amaravati, May 2026 : Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, along with his family members, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday, describing the interaction as a deeply memorable and emotional experience.

The meeting, which took place in the national capital, was later shared by the Union Minister on social media platform X, where he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Prime Minister’s warmth and affection.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader said it was an honour for his family to meet the Prime Minister, adding that PM Modi’s presence and personality left a strong impression across all three generations of his family.

“His remarkable charisma touched all three generations of our family alike, reflecting why he remains a truly unparalleled leader of the masses,” Ram Mohan Naidu wrote in his post.

He further highlighted a special moment from the meeting, noting that his mother presented a sapling to the Prime Minister as part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative. The gesture, he said, symbolised environmental consciousness and emotional bonding with nature.

“The most special moment was seeing my mother gift a tree sapling to Hon’ble PM, inspired by the meaningful vision of ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. We feel deeply honoured by his warmth and blessings and are sincerely grateful for the precious time he gave us,” he added.

According to officials, the Prime Minister has been regularly meeting Union Ministers and Members of Parliament belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as well as allied parties under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). These meetings are seen as part of ongoing consultations and engagement with representatives from different states and ministries.

This is not the first such interaction between the Prime Minister and leaders from Andhra Pradesh. In May last year, TDP Working President and Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh also met Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi along with his family members.

Lokesh, who holds key portfolios including Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Real Time Governance, and Human Resources Development, had visited the Prime Minister along with his wife Brahmani and son Devansh for a courtesy meeting.

During that visit, PM Modi had reportedly expressed a desire to meet Lokesh and his family following the relaunch of the Amaravati capital works on May 2, 2025, marking renewed focus on the development of Andhra Pradesh’s capital region.

As part of that earlier interaction, the Prime Minister also unveiled a coffee table book titled “Yuvagalam”, which documents the 3,132-km padayatra undertaken by Nara Lokesh ahead of the 2024 elections. The journey played a significant role in the NDA’s electoral victory in Andhra Pradesh.

The book was designed by Brahmani, wife of Nara Lokesh. In appreciation of the effort, Prime Minister Modi had signed a copy of the book and presented it back to the family.

Saturday’s meeting with Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu was similarly marked by warmth, symbolic gestures, and personal interaction, reflecting the continuing engagement between the Prime Minister and leaders of allied parties along with their families.
