Lucknow/Amethi, Nov 2025: The “Give Employment – Give Social Justice” march, led by senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, entered its seventh day with unprecedented public support in Sultanpur district. The march began at 10 a.m. from Maa Bhagwati Lawn in Utari and moved through Pratapganj Bazaar, Raghav Dhaba, Durgapur Bazaar, and Ramganj, finally reaching Shyam Vatika located in Trisundi, Amethi.

Wherever the march passed, youth, women, farmers, weavers, labourers, ASHA and Anganwadi workers, and small entrepreneurs extended an enthusiastic welcome.
During the march, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that Uttar Pradesh has now become the state with the highest unemployment in the country, and its worst impact is being felt by the youth. He added that not only young people but also lakhs of families involved in farming, weaving, and small-scale industries are suffering due to unemployment. Singh alleged that the government’s faulty policies have destroyed small enterprises and traditional professions.
The MP further said that caste-based discrimination remains the biggest obstacle to social progress in Uttar Pradesh. “Through this march, we demand equality and transparency at every level—from government systems to recruitment processes,” he said. According to Sanjay Singh, real social justice and development cannot be achieved until caste-based injustices are eliminated.
Sanjay Singh also accused the BJP government of increasing atrocities against Dalits and backward communities. He stated that the state government not only suppresses complaints but also fails to deliver justice to the victims. “Unless accountability is ensured within the power structure, atrocities against vulnerable sections will not stop,” he said.
As the march reached Pratapganj Bazaar, Sharafat Ullah Ansari, Mujeeb Ahmed, Girish Tiwari, Upendra Tiwari, Rakesh Tiwari, Zubair Khan, and Alok Tiwari welcomed MP Sanjay Singh with flower garlands. At Bisani, village head Anil Yadav accompanied Sanjay Singh as he interacted with locals and learned about their issues.
Upon reaching Narayanpur, Harishankar Jaiswal, Dharmendra Nath Shukla, Dr. Malkhan Singh, Satish Kumar Srivastava, Ram Niranjan Kori, Ram Bahadur Yadav, Ghanshyam Soni, Kavita Kashyap, Pooja Verma, and Lakshmi warmly received the march. At Raghav Dhaba, Harishankar Jaiswal, Atul Singh, and several others greeted the team. In Ramganj, Anil Kori, Krishna, Santosh Kumar, Umesh, Shivpoojan, Vishal, and Satish Sahu gave an enthusiastic welcome.
After the daylong march, Sanjay Singh reached Shyam Vatika in Trisundi, Amethi in the evening, where a large crowd gathered to give a grand reception.
The “Give Employment, Give Social Justice” march will resume tomorrow from Shyam Vatika in Trisundi and proceed through various areas of Amethi towards its next destination.
