Digital Degree Verification, a Meaningful Step in Student Interest: Governor Shri Patel

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that Digital Degree Verification Portal is a historic step towards improvement of higher education. The portal is a meaningful initiative in student interest. Governor Shri Patel said that due to technological innovation in academic activities of the university, students will get relief from complex process of verification. Employment and placement related essential procedures will be completed in a safe, simple and timely manner.

Governor Shri Patel said that special innovations being carried out by the state government in the field of higher education are commendable. He understood the degree verification process through the portal. He conducted a random test himself. He congratulated the entire university administration for successfully launching the portal. Governor Shri Patel inaugurated Digital Degree Verification Portal of Barkatullah University, Bhopal, with one click on Thursday. The programme was organised at Raj Bhavan.

Principal Secretary to Governor Dr Navneet Mohan Kothari, Vice Chancellor of the university Shri Suresh Kumar Jain, Additional Secretary Shri Umashankar Bhargav, Registrar Shri Anil Sharma and other officers were present.
