CM Shinde’s Discussion with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar for Maharashtra stranded students in Bangladesh

Mumbai : Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held talks today with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar regarding assistance for students and engineers from Maharashtra stranded in Bangladesh. All measures will be taken to ensure their safe return, including arranging special planes for their repatriation, as confirmed by Minister S. Jaishankar during the discussion.

The Ministry of External Affairs has been informed about the whereabouts of the students and engineers from Maharashtra stranded in Bangladesh. Chief Minister Shinde has taken significant steps to address the situation. During the discussion with Minister Jaishankar, various issues were addressed, and assurances were given that all necessary arrangements are being made through the Indian Embassy in Bangladesh. Minister Jaishankar emphasized that no harm will come to the students, engineers, or other Indians stranded there, and they will be safely repatriated.

The state government has collected information about the students and engineers stranded in Bangladesh and has appointed a team to contact and assist them. Chief Minister Shinde assured that the Maharashtra government will provide all necessary support to expedite the safe return of the affected individuals.

Witnessing the turbulent situation in Bangladesh, Chief Minister Shinde immediately contacted the Ministry of External Affairs and has remained in constant touch to ensure the swift and safe return of the stranded individuals.
