Chief Minister Meets Doner Minister

Aizawl, Nov 2025: Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma held a meeting with Pu Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister for DoNER, at the Ministry of DoNER office in New Delhi.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister requested the Minister to approve funds under DoNER for the construction of the Pukzing–Silsury Road and Champhai–Tualpui Road, which had already been accepted by the Empowered Inter-Ministerial Committee on 19 August 2025. He also sought sanction for the construction of the Oil Palm Link Road within Mizoram.

Responding to the request, the DoNER Minister informed the Chief Minister that the Ministry is reviewing the proposal and expressed hope that the funds will be sanctioned either in the current financial year or the next financial year.

The Chief Minister was accompanied at the meeting by Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar, Minister; Pu K.C. Lalmalsawmzauva, Adviser to the Chief Minister; and Pi R. Lalrodingi, OSD to the Chief Minister.
