78th NCC Day Celebration Held in Aizawl on 25 November 2025

Nov 2025: Upholding the true spirit of the National Cadet Corps, the 78th NCC Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal in Aizawl on 25 November 2025.

A wide range of activities was planned and organised by the NCC units of Mizoram. These included the NCC Josh Run, a motivational talk by local officer Major Baby (Retd., NCC Entry, ex-20 Mizo Battalion), cultural programmes, the screening of the NCC Day message by the Director General of NCC for the cadets, the singing of the NCC Song, and the National Anthem. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony for the guest speaker and cadets by the chief guest, Colonel B.P.S. Patwal, Deputy Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Aizawl.

A total strength comprising four officers, seven JCOs, and 20 PI staff members, along with 180 cadets from all three units—1 Mizo Battalion, 20 Mizo Battalion, and 1 Mizo Air NCC—participated in the event, making it a grand success.
