Eastern Railway Malda Division Commemorates Constitution Day.

Eastern Railway Malda Division today on 26th November 2025, have observed Constitution Day with solemnity and enthusiasm across its jurisdiction.

Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), Malda, Mr. Sheo Kumar Prasad led the officers and staff in the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India at the DRM Office, Malda. The event witnessed active and spirited participation from railway officials and staff.

Mr. Indrajeet, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, along with other Senior Branch Officers of Malda Division, was also present on the occasion.

Administering the pledge, Mr. Sheo Kumar Prasad reaffirmed the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution, including Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. The collective reading of the Preamble served as a reminder of the shared responsibility to uphold constitutional values in every sphere of work and life.

A similar ceremony was organised at Jamalpur Diesel Shed under the leadership of Senior DME (Diesel), Mr. Krishna Kumar Das, where officers and staff participated in reading the Preamble as part of the observance of Constitution Day.

Officers and staff across Malda Division reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, inclusiveness, and service excellence, thereby contributing to the growth and development of the nation.
