16-Point Demand Submitted; CM Assures Positive Action
At the event, Minister of State and programme coordinator Shri Geeta Ram Gaud presented a 16-point memorandum to the Chief Minister, highlighting various local issues. CM Dhami assured that all demands would be examined seriously and positive action would be taken.
Addressing a large public gathering, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is taking several historic and decisive steps. He emphasised that the strictest anti-cheating law in the country has been implemented in Uttarakhand.
He informed that in the last four and a half years, more than 26,000 youths have been selected for government jobs through a completely transparent and honest recruitment process. “These jobs have been given purely on the basis of merit and talent,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that the government has imposed strict restrictions on activities such as land jihad, spit jihad, love jihad, and forced religious conversions. The state government is committed to protecting the state’s demographics and cultural values.
Focus on Cultural Renaissance
CM Dhami said that just as Lord Ram’s grand temple was established in Ayodhya after 500 years, and the Mahakal Corridor was completed in Ujjain, Uttarakhand is also undertaking major efforts for cultural revival.
A special master plan worth ₹120 crore is being prepared for the famous Hanol Temple in the region, which will focus on the preservation and development of this spiritual and historical site.
Expressing gratitude, CM Dhami said he was deeply moved by the love and warm welcome extended by the people of Lakhamandal. He assured the public that the state government is continuously committed to the all-round development of Uttarakhand.
