Funds for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Buldhana to be Distributed Immediately – DCM Fadnavis
Mumbai : Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed the immediate distribution of funds for the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Yashwantrao Chavan Mukta Vasahat, Ramai Gharkul, and Minority Gharkul in Buldhana district.
Today, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis reviewed various development projects in Buldhana district at Sahyadri Guest House. The meeting was held in response to a statement made by MLA Shweta Mahale.
Fadnavis emphasized that the funds for the fourth installment of ongoing works under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana should be released without delay. He also urged the acceleration of the construction of 457 houses approved in Chikhli city. Additionally, he stated that the slum rehabilitation efforts in Ektanagar should benefit from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under the Integrated Housing and Slum Development Scheme. The search for a site for the redevelopment and rehabilitation housing complex should be expedited. He further instructed that the construction proposal for a 100-bed Chikhli Upazila Hospital and the associated hospital building should be approved immediately.
Fadnavis also directed that any doubts regarding government reservation on the Rohidas Nagar plot within Chikhali municipality should be resolved and a proposal for plot allotment and slum rehabilitation should be submitted. Furthermore, he instructed that project-affected certificates under the PAP be issued to landowners who have allocated land for Chikhli MIDC.
Finally, Fadnavis addressed the commencement of access road and highway works connecting Chikhli, Buldhana, and Malkapur from Palaskhed on Samriddhi Highway, the Khadak Purna project, the opening of the Peru Research Center and Garden School, safety measures regarding the automatic gate of Yelgaon Dam, and the Pentakali Project.
