Key Decisions Taken at Rajasthan Housing Board’s 175th Project Committee Meeting

Nov 2025 : At the 175th meeting of the Project Committee — chaired by Debashish Prusti, Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department and Chairman of the Rajasthan Housing Board — several important decisions were taken on Thursday at the Board headquarters.

Strict Instructions for Complete Digitization of Records
Chairman Debashish Prusti issued firm directions to fully digitize all records of the Rajasthan Housing Board in a phased manner to enhance transparency and efficiency in record management.
He stated that all documents — from old files to current project-related papers — must be preserved in digital format. This will increase transparency, make record search and verification easier, speed up departmental processes, and eliminate discrepancies related to physical records in the future. Digitization will help make the Board’s operations smoother and more technology-driven.

Approval for Housing Projects in Bhiwadi and Hanumangarh; Community Centre to be Built in Jaipur’s Pratap Nagar Sector 22
In the meeting, approval was granted for 32 high-income group (S+8) flats under the Aravali Vihar Scheme in Bhiwadi. This will expand residential options for middle- and high-income groups living in Alwar, Bhiwadi, Tijara and nearby regions.

Similarly, approval was also given for 160 (G+3) flats for the Middle Income Group–A category under the Board’s DTO Hanumangarh Scheme. This will make modern housing available to residents of Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar, and surrounding areas. Registration for both these schemes will begin in December.

Additionally, the construction of a proposed Community Centre in Sector 22, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur was approved. This centre will serve as an important facility for both scheme allottees and the general public, benefiting residents of all income groups in Pratap Nagar and nearby localities. Construction work will begin in January.

Project Committee Member Secretary and Additional Chief Town Planner Rinku Bansal gave a detailed presentation of all plans through maps and shared related information.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Gopal Singh, Deputy Secretary Ashok Kumar, Chief Engineer Amit Agrawal, Prateek Srivastava, T.S. Meena, Additional Chief Town Planner Rinku Bansal, and other officials.
