New CIJW Commandant Visits Kolasib DC Office

Kolasib: Dec 2025: Today, Major General Kulvir Singh (SM **), the new Commandant of the Counter-Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School, Vairengte, visited the Kolasib Deputy Commissioner’s Office. A meeting was subsequently held at the DC Office Conference Hall with District Deputy Commissioner Mr. Robert C. Lalhmangaiha and other important government officials.

The meeting was chaired by District Deputy Commissioner Mr. Robert C. Lalhmangaiha. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the visit of the new CIJW Commandant, Mr. Kulvir Singh, to the Kolasib DC Office. Emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation between government officials in the Kolasib District and CIJW Vairengte, he extended his best wishes for continued strong collaboration in various government initiatives.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Kulvir Singh noted that as CIJW Vairengte is a premier military training centre, soldiers from all over the world come there for training. He stated that they are willing to assist the public to the best of their ability wherever their work could be of benefit, and also stressed the importance of maintaining good cooperation with the District administration. He also briefly highlighted matters regarding Ex-Servicemen (ESM) welfare, the Sainik Aramghar, and the ZSB (Zila Sainik Board) office.

Government District Officials, CIJW officials, and NHIDCL officials were present at the event.
