Online Photography Competition by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board on the Occasion of the State’s Silver Jubilee Year

Competition to be held from 08 to 15 December 2025; Attractive prizes for winners

Raipur, December 2025 : As part of the celebrations marking the Silver Jubilee Year of Chhattisgarh’s statehood, the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board is organizing a series of special activities and competitions from 08 to 21 December 2025. In this sequence, various creative programmes have been proposed at different tourism centres, resorts across the state, and at the Tourism Board’s head office in Raipur, aimed at giving a new dimension to Chhattisgarh tourism.

Taking this initiative forward, the Tourism Board has decided to organize an online photography competition from 08 to 15 December 2025. The objective of this contest is to showcase Chhattisgarh’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and tourist destinations from a fresh perspective, while providing an empowering platform for young and amateur photographers to display their talent.

Participants aged 18 or above from any part of India can submit their entries online. They must upload original photographs based on the theme of Chhattisgarh to the designated email address it@visitcg.in, along with their name, age, mobile number, address, and a brief description of the photograph.

The submitted entries will be evaluated by an expert jury based on creativity, technical quality, relevance to the theme, and tourism value. The winners will be announced on 19 December.

  • The first prize includes a 2-night, 3-day stay for two persons at Hill Eco Resort.
  • The second prize offers a 1-night, 2-day stay for two persons at Sonbhadra Tourist Resort, Amadob.
  • The third prize includes a cash reward of ₹1,500, along with certificates for all winners.

The Tourism Board may also consider featuring outstanding photographs in its future promotional materials and digital platforms, providing wider recognition to the participants.

Such competitions not only promote local tourism but also foster strong interest among youth in creative expression and the art of photography. The board has appealed to photographers, tourists, and the general public across the state to participate in large numbers.
