42nd Mizoram Secondary School Games Begin Today

Aizawl, December 2025: The 42nd edition of the Mizoram Secondary School Games, organised by the School Education Department, commenced today in Aizawl and will continue until Friday, the 12th of this month.

In this year’s Secondary School Games, students will compete in six sports disciplines — Athletics, Football, Volleyball, Taekwondo, Tug-of-War, Arm Wrestling, and Indigenous Games. The events will be held across various venues. Around 1,900 students and teachers from all 11 districts are participating.

1. Athletics (Boys & Girls): Rajiv Gandhi Stadium & College Veng Field
2. Football (Boys): Rajiv Gandhi Stadium & 1st Battalion MAP Ground, Armed Veng
3. Taekwondo (Boys & Girls): Electric Veng Indoor Badminton Court
4. Volleyball (Boys & Girls): Electric Veng Indoor (Girls) & Joint YMA Indoor (Boys)
5. Tug-of-War, Arm Wrestling & Indigenous Games: Chaltlang Field
