CM Bhajanlal Sharma Engages with NR Rajasthani Chapters; Emphasizes Investment in “Developed Rajasthan”
Jaipur, December 2025: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted that Rajasthan offers immense opportunities for growth and investment across sectors such as mining, energy, education, tourism, and healthcare. While major domestic and international investors are already investing in the state, the participation of Non-Resident (NR) Rajasthanis in investing in their motherland and contributing to the journey of a “Developed Rajasthan” is particularly gratifying. The CM affirmed the state government’s commitment to providing all possible support to investors while meeting their aspirations.
On Tuesday, the CM held a dialogue at the Chief Minister’s Office with representatives of eight NR Rajasthani chapters from across India and abroad. During the meeting, he appreciated the chapters’ efforts in motivating NR Rajasthanis to participate in social and economic development activities and invest in the state. He also commended their active involvement in the upcoming NR Rajasthani Day scheduled on 10th December at JECC, Sitapura.
Chief Minister Sharma noted that NR Rajasthanis have made the state proud through their hard work and dedication, both domestically and internationally. By maintaining strong ties to their roots, they have also actively participated in social initiatives within Rajasthan. To further strengthen NR Rajasthani engagement, the state government has created a dashboard highlighting gap areas across districts. This platform will allow NR Rajasthanis to contribute easily to development projects in their villages, towns, and districts with the support of Bhamashahs, thereby becoming active partners in their homeland’s growth.
NRR Policy to Create a Strong Investment Ecosystem
The CM announced that the state has established the Department of National & International NR Rajasthani Affairs, which will serve as a robust platform for dialogue and collaboration between NR Rajasthanis and the government, enhancing their connection with the state. He further explained that the Non-Resident Rajasthani Policy of Rajasthan-2025 will foster an enabling environment to promote investment, trade, knowledge exchange, and research contributions from NR Rajasthanis. This policy aims to create a better investment ecosystem in the state, accelerating NR Rajasthani participation in Rajasthan’s development.
Commitment to Promote Investment in the State
Representatives of the chapters expressed their appreciation for the CM’s leadership, noting that Rajasthan has developed a business-friendly environment over the past two years, propelling the state’s growth. They stated that NR Rajasthanis are actively committed to promoting investment in the state. NR Rajasthani Day will provide a golden opportunity for NR Rajasthanis to reconnect with their roots. The chapters also thanked the CM for establishing the department and formulating the Non-Resident Rajasthani Policy-2025.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, senior officials from relevant departments, and representatives from NR Rajasthani chapters in Riyadh, Kathmandu, Ranchi, Guwahati, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore.
