Rajeevika Launches “Mission Samriddh Didi” – A New Push for SHG Credit Linking and Enterprise Development in Rural Areas
Jaipur, December 2025 : Rajeevika (Rajasthan State Rural Livelihoods Development Council) on Friday launched a month-long special state-level campaign titled “Mission Samriddh Didi.”
The campaign aims to ensure timely bank credit for women of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), promote women-led enterprises, and strengthen digital financial inclusion in rural areas.
The campaign was formally inaugurated by Mrs. Smriti Sharan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Rajeevika State Mission Director Mrs. Neha Giri was also present on the occasion.
Representatives of SLBC, senior bank officials, all District Project Managers (DPMs), district and block mission units, and members of Rajeevika’s field and SPMU teams participated in the virtual launch. Their participation reflected a united commitment to the economic empowerment of rural women.
The primary objectives of Mission Samriddh Didi include linking SHG women with timely bank credit, supporting both new and existing enterprises, and strengthening coordination between district-level teams and banking institutions.
The campaign places special emphasis on safe cashless transactions, digital financial literacy, doorstep banking services through BC Sakhis, and social security and asset insurance for women entrepreneurs.
Addressing the event, senior officials highlighted the importance of financial inclusion, stating that it plays a vital role in enabling rural women to build sustainable livelihoods and in making the rural economy stronger and more resilient.
Over the next month, Rajeevika’s district and block teams will work closely with banks and SHG networks through field verification, bank coordination, enterprise support, and daily progress reporting to achieve the mission’s goals.
Mission Samriddh Didi is expected to become a significant milestone in building a stronger, digitally empowered, and enterprise-ready SHG ecosystem—moving Rajasthan towards greater empowerment and prosperity.
