Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performs Bhoomi-Poojan of hospital building and Critical Care Unit
Announces gift of new 650-bed hospital building
Bhopal, December 2025 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi-Poojan on Saturday of a new 650-bed hospital building to be constructed at the Government Medical College in Satna at a cost of ₹383 crore. With the completion of this hospital building, a modern 650-bed hospital facility will be available in close proximity to the medical college. With the completion of the facility, medical college students will no longer have to travel far for clinical practice, and the residents of Satna will benefit from a state-of-the-art hospital.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also performed Bhoomi Poojan for a 100-bed modern ward and a 50-bed Critical Care Health Ward to be constructed at the District Hospital, Satna, at a cost of ₹32.54 crore. He also performed Bhoomi Poojan for a 100-seater workers’ rest house in Satna, to be built at a cost of ₹6.16 crore.
District In-charge Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Pratima Bagri, Member of Parliament Shri Ganesh Singh, Chitrakoot MLA Shri Surendra Singh Geharwar, public representatives, Medical College Dean Dr. S.P. Garg, doctors and nursing staff were present on the occasion.
