Bhandara and Mahaprasad Programme Organised by Santmat Anuyayi Ashram in the Presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Kandivli

Mumbai, Jan 2026 : Saints have preserved the legacy of social and educational work and social awakening over the years. It is because of the saint tradition that India has acquired a historic identity at the global level, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a programme organised at the Santmat Anuyayi Ashram, Singh Estate, Kandivli (East). Chief Minister Fadnavis said that through their teachings, saints have ensured the all-round development of society. The thoughts of saints have provided direction to social and educational work. In the Santmat tradition, human service, equality, love, and harmony are not merely principles, but a way of life that is practiced in reality. Through the followers of Shri Sadguru Sharananandji Maharaj Paramhans, this extremely important work is being carried out by the Santmat Anuyayi Ashram for the propagation of these values.

The Chief Minister said that the work of the Santmat Anuyayi Ashrams guides society towards service and love. The contribution of the ashram in preserving the values of human service, equality, love, and harmony is invaluable, and this represents the true essence of the Santmat tradition.

He further said that the Paramhans Maharajs of the Santmat tradition opposed casteism and discrimination and upheld humanity as supreme. They conveyed the message of self-realisation, renunciation of ego, sacrifice, and service to humanity. They clarified that the Bhagavad Gita in Indian culture is not merely a philosophy, but a path to living an ideal life while preserving culture and civilisation. The saint tradition has carried out the great task of preserving Indian culture, Chief Minister Fadnavis noted.

On the occasion, former minister Kripashankar Singh, former MP Gopal Shetty, MLAs Amit Satam, Atul Bhatkhalkar, and Pravin Darekar, Secretary of the Santmat Anuyayi Ashram Trust Radheshyam Yadav, along with a large number of devotees, were present.
