State rapidly strengthening youth power to achieve Viksit Bharat@2047: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly strengthening its youth power to achieve the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’. He said that Swami Vivekananda introduced the world to India’s core consciousness through the World Parliament of Religions in America, and today India’s youth are moving forward with the same determination and resolve. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India is steadily progressing as the world’s youngest nation. Madhya Pradesh, too, is witnessing the fast-paced development of its youth power. The nation is committed to achieving a developed India by 2047. The Chief Minister was interacting with youths at a dialogue programme held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday.

This year, 47 youths from Madhya Pradesh will participate in the ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue’, while a 29-member youth delegation will represent the state at the 29th National Youth Festival in New Delhi. These youths visited and interacted with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav at his official residence. The event began with the collective singing of Vande Mataram in his presence. Sushri Sakshi Pateria warmly welcomed the Chief Minister, while Sushri Anshika Mishra conveyed a message to the youths through teachings from the Gita. The event was attended by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishvas Kailash Sarang and Director of Sports Shri Rakesh Gupta.

During the interaction, the youths raised questions on various subjects, which the Chief Minister answered with ease and clarity. Shri Somesh from Gwalior asked about the essential elements of an effective speech. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav replied that continuous self-study and acquisition of knowledge automatically enhance the quality of one’s speech. Classroom learning is important, but much more needs to be learned and understood beyond the syllabus.

Shri Priyanshu from Anuppur expressed his query about the State Government’s efforts to make natural farming a mass movement and the potential for startups in this field. In response, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said it was encouraging to see today’s youth increasingly engaging in agriculture, particularly natural farming, alongside business pursuits. He informed that 2026 has been declared as “Farmer Welfare Year” and all efforts are being made to promote natural farming. Madhya Pradesh practices some of the most ideal forms of agriculture in the country and has good productivity of all types of ‘Shri Anna’. Indigenous manure is essential for natural farming, and therefore, Gaupalan and milk production are being promoted, with special emphasis on indigenous cattle. Referring to the film ‘Upkaar’, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of farmers through the message of ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’.

A youth from Rajgarh questioned whether the government land could be leased to youths for farming. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the State Government would consider this suggestion. He said that encouraging agricultural diversification would help increase farmers’ income. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav cited, “The Mohanpura Dam and irrigation project in Rajgarh is an excellent example of modern irrigation systems.” He stated that the irrigated area in the state has increased significantly, from 7.5 lakh hectares in 2002–03 to 58 lakh hectares at present. It is a major achievement.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishvas Kailash Sarang said that the youths of Madhya Pradesh would represent the state in New Delhi. He stated that the Prime Minister Shri Modi has identified four key segments—the poor, youth, farmers and women-as pillars of national development. To achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047, youths will play a crucial role. He informed that youths from Madhya Pradesh would present their ideas before the Prime Minister on January 11 and 12. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, various schemes are being continuously implemented for youth welfare in the state. He urged every youth to resolve to do something significant for the nation, stating that youth are the foundation of the country’s future.
