Minister Laxmi Rajwade Visits Mahavirpur and Sanjay Nagar in Bhatgaon Assembly Constituency under “Gaon–Basti Chalo” Campaign
Raipur, January 2026 : Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister, Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade, on Thursday visited Mahavirpur village and Sanjay Nagar in the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency as part of the “Gaon–Basti Chalo” outreach campaign. During the visit, she interacted directly with villagers and local residents, listened to their problems, and in several cases issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officials for their speedy resolution.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Rajwade said that the state government’s priority is to resolve public grievances by reaching out directly to the people. She directed officials to ensure time-bound, transparent, and quality resolution of issues related to rural areas so that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person.
During her tour, Minister Rajwade participated in the foundation-laying ceremony of a drainage construction project in Mahavirpur village and inaugurated a newly constructed Public Distribution System (PDS) building in Sanjay Nagar. She said such infrastructure development works play an important role in expanding rural facilities and making everyday life more convenient for people.
On the occasion, Janpad Panchayat Vice-Chairperson Mr. Manmat Bachhad, Surajpur District Mahila Morcha President Mrs. Nutan Vishwas, Mandal President Mr. Harish Rajwade, along with sarpanches of both villages, public representatives, senior citizens, BJP workers, and a large number of local residents were present. The villagers extended a warm welcome to Minister Laxmi Rajwade and expressed their gratitude for the ongoing development works in the region.
