Valsa Nair-Singh Sworn in as Chairperson of Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission

Mumbai, January 2026 : Retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Valsa Nair-Singh was administered the oath of office and secrecy as the Chairperson of the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Sahyadri Guest House. Following the oath-taking ceremony, Chief Minister Fadnavis congratulated and welcomed her.

The ceremony was attended by Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore, Non-Conventional Energy Minister Atul Save, Chief Secretary Rajesh Agrawal, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy Department) Abha Shukla, along with senior officials from the concerned departments.
