Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Raghavendra Singh, discussed the state’s technological capabilities, policy support and practical aspects of potential partnerships.

During the meeting, Touchlab representatives shared their global experience in advanced AI-driven technology solutions and said that the company has operations in the United Kingdom, Tokyo and the United States. The company also stated that it is participating in upcoming global AI summits.

Principal Secretary Shri Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is adopting a phased and pragmatic approach towards the development of AI and emerging technologies. Highlighting the availability of affordable and reliable power infrastructure in the state, he said this provides a strong foundation for data centres and compute-intensive operations. He described NATRAX as a unique technological asset of the state and noted that, as the country’s largest automotive testing and validation track, it offers real-world, use-case-driven opportunities for advanced mobility, AI-based testing and next-generation technology applications.

The meeting also included discussions on education- and research-led collaboration, with a special focus on SME participation and strengthening applied innovation. Shri Singh highlighted the state’s startup ecosystem, noting that more than 6,000 registered startups are active in Madhya Pradesh, creating a conducive environment for pilot projects, testing and co-development of new technologies.

Touchlab expressed interest in exploring the application of its technologies in areas such as cybersecurity and online gaming. This aligns with Madhya Pradesh’s dedicated policies for AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics) and digital innovation.

Both sides agreed to continue engagement on AI-focused pilot projects, ecosystem partnerships and technology-driven initiatives in Madhya Pradesh.
