Review Meeting on Preparations for GRAM-2026 — Chief Secretary Directs Timely Completion of All Arrangements

Jaipur, January 2026 : Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas on Monday reviewed the preparations for GRAM-2026 (Global Rajasthan Agri-Tech Meet-2026) at the Secretariat.

He informed that on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, the camps will be inaugurated in two phases starting January 23. The first phase will be held on January 23, 24, 25, and 31, while the second phase will be organized from February 1 and February 5 to 9, for a total duration of 10 days. These camps will be conducted at every Girdawar circle.

He said that for these camps, the Agriculture and Horticulture Department will act as the state-level nodal department. In addition, daily progress reports related to activities in each district will be compiled at the state level.

The Chief Secretary stated that all District Collectors will appoint district-level nodal officers, issue 10-day work orders circle-wise for Girdawar circles, and select suitable venues for the camps. The funds available under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will be utilized for organizing these camps.

To ensure the successful conduct of these camps, various tasks will be carried out by the departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries, Cooperation, Water Resources, Energy, Industries, Rural Development, and Panchayati Raj.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Planning Department Shri Abhay Kumar; Additional Chief Secretary, MSME Shri Shikhar Agrawal; Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Horticulture and Panchayati Raj, Smt. Manju Rajpal; Secretary, Local Self Government Department Shri Ravi Jain; Secretary, Animal Husbandry Department Dr. Samit Sharma; Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Sandesh Nayak; Commissioner and Joint Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department Shri Rakesh Sharma. District Collectors from all districts joined the meeting through video conferencing, along with other officials.
