Mandi yards, approach roads and repair of damaged approach roads to be undertaken at a cost of Rs 57.41 crore

Increase in arrivals at mandis to boost revenue
Jaipur, September 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has approved proposals for various development works costing Rs 57.41 crore to strengthen the infrastructure of 30 Agricultural Produce Market Committees in the state. The approved works will include construction of mandi yards, electrical works, construction of approach roads and repair of damaged roads.
With the approval granted by the Chief Minister, various development works will be undertaken in the Agricultural Produce Market Committees at Bajju (Bikaner), Nokha (Bikaner), Khajuwala (Bikaner), Sri Dungargarh (Bikaner), Palsana (Sikar), Jaisalmer, Pratapgarh, Mandawari (Dausa), Mahwa (Dausa), Baran, Nahargarh (Baran), Uniara (Tonk), Samrania (Baran), Niwai (Tonk), Sadulpur (Churu), Bijaynagar (Beawar), Ridmalsar (Sri Ganganagar), Kapasan (Chittorgarh), Didwana, Bhinmal, Madanganj-Kishangarh, Degana, Kaman (Deeg), Nagaur, Anaj Mandi Udaipur, Sikar, Chaumahla (Jhalawar), Anaj Mandi Kota, Gharsana (Sri Ganganagar) and Sangaria (Hanumangarh).
These development works will expand basic infrastructure facilities for farmers and traders at the mandis and provide a boost to agricultural marketing activities.
Construction of mandi yards and electrical works in the Agricultural Produce Market Committees will further strengthen basic facilities for traders and farmers. At the same time, construction of approach roads connecting the mandis and repair of damaged approach roads will enable farmers from rural areas to transport their produce to the mandis with greater ease. This will increase the arrival of crops at the mandis, make it easier for farmers to sell their produce and also lead to an increase in mandi revenue.
