Kolasib, August 2026: Mizoram Home Minister K. Sapdanga arrived in Kolasib on Friday evening to attend the Independence Day celebrations to be held in the district on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The Home Minister was warmly received at the Kolasib Circuit House by Lalfamkima, Deputy Speaker of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly; H. Dolianbuaia, Kolasib District Commissioner; Lalrinpuia Varte, Superintendent of Police (SP); and other senior government officials.
The Independence Day celebration in Kolasib will begin at 7:45 a.m. on August 15 at the Kolasib Sports Stadium.
