Lunglei, August 2026: Lalniliani of Mualthuam North village in Lunglei district, who received the Best Seller Award at the National Buyer–Seller Meet cum Exhibition (NBSM) 2026 held at the State Convention Centre in Shillong, Meghalaya, from July 24–25, 2026, was felicitated today by Lunglei District Collector Navneet Mann with a tea reception at her office.
District Collector Navneet Mann congratulated Lalniliani on her achievement and extended her best wishes for her continued progress. She said that the DC Office was ready to provide all possible assistance in her future endeavours and encouraged her to continue bringing recognition to the district and inspiring others. A congratulatory gift was also presented on behalf of the DC Office.
On the occasion, Lalniliani, owner of Mesak Weaves, spoke about her participation in NBSM 2026 and shared her experiences and various prospects. She expressed her gratitude to the government departments, organisations and individuals who helped facilitate her participation in NBSM 2026, supported her efforts in various ways and congratulated her on the achievement.
Lalniliani, owner of Mesak Weaves and a member of the Khuangchawi Self Help Group (SHG) under the Mizoram State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MzSRLM), participated in the National Buyer–Seller Meet cum Exhibition (NBSM) 2026 organised at Shillong, Meghalaya, from July 24–25, 2026, under the aegis of the College of Community Science, Central Agricultural University (Imphal), Tura, Meghalaya, where she received the Best Seller Award. In addition, she also received the Entrepreneurs Award presented by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) to entrepreneurs recognised for their excellence and growth prospects in the Northeast. The award carries a cash prize of ₹5 lakh (₹5,00,000).
