Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Reviews Flood Situation Following Heavy Rains in Pune
Mumbai : In light of the ongoing heavy rains in Pune district, Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of the district Ajit Pawar held a phone discussion this morning with Collector and Head of District Disaster Relief Authority, Shri Suhas Diwase, to review the flood situation and assess preparations for rescue and relief efforts.
Pawar instructed the administration and disaster relief systems to remain vigilant and provide immediate relief to affected citizens, as heavy rains are impacting Khadakwasla and other parts of the district. He also appealed to the citizens of Pune city, Pimpri Chinchwad, and rural areas to take necessary precautions, contact the nearest administrative system in case of emergency, and avoid going out without essential reasons.
