CM Lalduhoma, Chairs Empowered Committee For Investment Meeting
Aizawl : Today, the Empowered Committee for Investment, chaired by Chief Minister Lalduhoma, convened in the CM Conference Hall. The meeting focused on the proposal to upgrade the Chaltlang Tourist Lodge to a more prestigious 4-star or higher-rated hotel.
Currently, there are 57 star-rated hotels across Northeast India. These hotels are managed by private entities, even when located on government property. However, Mizoram still lacks a star-rated hotel. Given the state’s progressive Sustainable Investment Policy, efforts have been made since last year to pursue the Chaltlang Tourist Lodge’s transformation into a star-rated hotel.
The meeting was attended by Pu TBC Lalvenchhunga, Adviser to the CM, and other committee members.”
