Guardian Minister Engages with the Public, Committed to Resolving Citizens’ Issues – Nitesh Rane
Sindhudurg : The primary objective of setting up the ‘Guardian Minister’s Desk’ is to understand and address the concerns of the common people promptly. “Today, I am available at the Guardian Minister’s Desk to listen to and resolve the issues faced by the citizens of the district. Moving forward, I will continue to be available for the public either weekly or biweekly,” said Guardian Minister Nitesh Rane.
Several citizens from the district presented their grievances at the Guardian Minister’s Desk, set up at the District Collector’s Office. The presence of the District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Superintendent of Police, and heads of various departments helped in addressing many complaints immediately.
A large number of people approached the Guardian Minister’s Desk to seek solutions to their problems. Due to the overwhelming response, grievances were later accepted at the District Planning Hall. Minister Rane issued direct instructions to officials, ensuring that many concerns were resolved on the spot.
During the session, Minister Rane assured that he would dedicate one day per week to being available at the Guardian Minister’s Desk and would inform the public in advance. “This initiative will allow citizens to approach me directly with their pending issues, and I will ensure their resolution. The key aim of this desk is to speed up the resolution of public concerns,” he added.
