Mizoram State Project Monitoring Committee Inspects Road Leading to Thenzawl Solar Plant
Serchhip : This morning (15th July 2025), the Mizoram State Project Monitoring Committee (MSPMC) inspected the road leading to the Thenzawl Solar Plant. During the visit, the committee reviewed the condition of the road and side drains and held a discussion on necessary improvements and future work plans.
The MSPMC team stated that they will submit their observations from today’s inspection to the Chairman of MSPMC and Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma. Emphasizing the importance of quality control in all ongoing projects in Mizoram, the team reiterated their commitment to maintaining high standards.
During the meeting, representatives of the Vantawng Group YMA and the Vigilance & Monitoring Sub-Committee also shared their concerns, expressing the desire for the road to the solar plant to be improved and constructed to a better standard than it is at present. Officials from the Power & Electricity Department assured that necessary follow-up actions will be taken to repair and upgrade the damaged portions of the road.
Today’s inspection team included Er. H. Laldintluanga (Member, MSPMC), Pi Vanchhungi (Task Force, MSPMC), and Pu Vannunmawia (Private Secretary to Vice Chairman, MSPMC), along with technicians from the PWD Quality Control & Research Development Division. Er. Laltlanthanga, Chief Engineer (Distribution), P&E Department, and other officials were also present. Representatives from the Vantawng Group YMA, Vigilance & Monitoring Sub-Committee, and members of the local press also attended the inspection.
