Chandrapur District Collector Felicitated for Outstanding Performance in ‘Sampurnata’ Campaign CM Fadnavis Presents Gold Medal

Chandrapur, August 2025 : In recognition of the remarkable performance under the ‘Aspirational Districts and Talukas’ programme during the ‘Sampurnata’ (Completeness) campaign conducted from July 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024, District Collector Vinay Gowda G.C. was honored with a gold medal. On his behalf, In-Charge District Collector Dr. Nitin Vyavhare received the award from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The state-level felicitation ceremony took place at the auditorium of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Nagpur. Under the leadership of District Collector Gowda, Chandrapur district successfully achieved all six indicators outlined in the Sampurnata campaign. Notably, three of these indicators were related to the health sector, which were accomplished with 100% success.

The event was graced by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar Devra, Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue) Vikas Kharge, and Additional Chief Secretary (Planning) Rajkumar.

Representing the successful participation from Jiwati Taluka, Block Development Officer Lakshminarayan Dodke, Taluka Health Officer Dr. Swapnil Tembhe, Aspirational Taluka Coordinator Ganesh Chintakuntalwar, and ‘UMED’ representative Rajeji Dudhe also received honors.

The guidance of the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Chandrapur, District Health Officer, Additional District Health Officer, and district-level coordinators was crucial in achieving this success. In particular, the dedicated efforts, perseverance, and commitment of the health department officers and staff in Jiwati Taluka were duly acknowledged and appreciated.
