TMC goons searching for places to open puncture shops; after May 4, they will be tracked down from anywhere: CM Yogi
Bengal will now also be freed from the syndicate of TMC, Congress, and Communists: Chief Minister
North 24 Parganas, April 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued an open challenge to the goons of the Trinamool Congress from the soil of West Bengal. He said that the money sent by Prime Minister Modi for development and welfare of the poor is being siphoned off by TMC goons. To settle accounts with these elements, a double engine government in Bengal is necessary.
He appealed to voters to bring a BJP government, stating, “BJP represents a guarantee of security and good governance, and ensures rights, respect, and self-reliance for Dalits, the deprived, the poor and the women. BJP coming to power, world-class infrastructure will be developed, strengthening the nation, and infiltration from Bangladesh will be stopped.’
Chief Minister was addressing a public gathering on Saturday in the presence of Union Minister Shantanu Thakur, in support of BJP candidate Soma Thakur from the Bagda Assembly constituency.
CM alleged that TMC remains silent over the massacre of Hindus in Bangladesh and does not utter even a word of sympathy. He said, the record voting in the first phase has shown that the youth and mothers of Bengal have resolved to end the darkness and build a TMC-free Bengal. The trends from the April 23 polling indicate that when the EVMs are opened on May 4, saffron will dominate across all assembly seats and a BJP double engine government will be formed.
He said, “TMC goons, rattled by this possibility, are now looking for places to hide or open puncture shops, but assured that after May 4, they will find no place to hide and will be tracked down wherever they go.”
CM added, ‘Bengal, once known as a cultural and knowledge capital, remembered for sacrifice, courage, spirituality, patriotism, art, and literature, is now struggling for its identity. Once the growth engine of India, Bengal is now facing an identity crisis. There are no employment opportunities for youth, farmers are distressed, and industries are shutting down.”
He said, TMC has created an environment of terror, mafia rule, and corruption. Open cow slaughter and growing despair among youth are not positive signs. Sand, land, and cattle mafias are threatening Bengal’s identity, whereas Uttar Pradesh has overcome such issues under the double engine government.
He also said, the time has come for Bengal to be freed from the syndicate of TMC, Congress, and Communists.
CM stated, “A large number of people from the Matua community reside in this region, many of whom came to India in 1947 and 1971.”
He alleged that Congress, Communists, and TMC did not want them to receive Indian citizenship. However, Prime Minister Modi introduced the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) in Parliament, paving the way for granting citizenship to persecuted Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, despite opposition from these parties.
He said that because of PM Modi, the Matua community now feels secure and proud as Indian citizens.
CM Yogi further stated, “On April 12, he distributed citizenship and land ownership certificates to displaced Hindus from Bangladesh in Lakhimpur Kheri. He mentioned that in Uttar Pradesh, there are four districts where members of the Matua community and displaced Bengali families from Bangladesh reside, and they are being granted citizenship and land ownership rights under the CAA.”
He emphasized that this has been possible because PM Modi thought about them, whereas Congress, Communists, and TMC lacked such vision.
