AP SSC Results 2026: Pass Percentage Rises to 85.25%, Girls Outshine Boys

Amaravati, April 2026 : The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh on Thursday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 public examinations, recording a notable improvement in the overall pass percentage this year.

The pass percentage rose to 85.25 per cent, up from 81.14 per cent in 2025, reflecting steady academic progress across the state. Continuing a consistent trend, girls outperformed boys in the examinations. The pass percentage among girls stood at 87.90 per cent, while 82.68 per cent of boys successfully cleared the exams.

Over six lakh students appeared for the SSC examinations, which were conducted from March 16 to April 1 at centres across Andhra Pradesh. The results were officially declared by Nara Lokesh, Minister for Human Resources Development and Information Technology, through social media.

Students can access their results on the official website of the board. Additionally, the results have been made available through digital platforms such as the Mana Mitra WhatsApp governance service, where students can retrieve their scores by sending a “Hi” message to 9552300009. The results are also accessible via the LEAP mobile application and through DigiLocker accounts managed by school authorities.

Expressing satisfaction over the improvement, Lokesh highlighted that while Andhra Pradesh continues to attract major investments and undertake transformative projects, progress in the education sector remains equally significant. He attributed the improved performance to the collective efforts of students, teachers, and families.

Government-run schools also showed a marked improvement, with their pass percentage increasing to 78.39 per cent from 72.8 per cent last year. Among districts, Parvathipuram Manyam emerged as the top performer with an impressive 96.07 per cent pass rate, while Alluri Sitharamaraju district recorded the lowest at 57.12 per cent.

The results for the AP Open School SSC and Intermediate Public Examinations (March 2026) were also released simultaneously, offering alternative education candidates access to their scores through similar platforms.

Encouraging students, Lokesh congratulated those who passed and urged those who could not clear the exams to remain hopeful and determined. He emphasised that setbacks are temporary and can be overcome with perseverance and support.

The board also announced that advanced supplementary examinations will be conducted from May 25 to June 4. Students can pay examination fees between May 1 and May 9, while applications for recounting and re-verification will open from May 1.
