Day 3 of Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Nationals 2026–27: Pahel Shah Clinches All-Around Gold; Railways Dominate Senior Team Championship
Bhubaneswar, May 2026 — Day 3 of the Junior & Senior Artistic Gymnastics National Championships 2026–27 continued to showcase exceptional performances in the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) category at the Gymnastics High Performance Centre, Kalinga Stadium.
In the Junior Women’s Individual All-Around competition, Pahel Shah from Maharashtra secured the gold medal with a score of 41.366, demonstrating impressive consistency and execution across all apparatus.
Paromita Bera of West Bengal claimed the silver medal with a close score of 41.167, while her state teammate Shreya Ghosh took home the bronze medal with 40.667, completing a strong showing for West Bengal.
In the Senior Women’s Team Championship 2026–27, the Railways Sports Promotion Board delivered a dominant performance to secure the gold medal with a commanding score of 130.899.
West Bengal finished second with a total of 124.00, while Maharashtra claimed the third position with a score of 123.166, rounding off a competitive team podium. Host state Odisha secured a fourth-place finish with a score of 119.635, reflecting a strong and competitive outing.
The championship continues to highlight the rising standards and depth of women’s gymnastics in India, with athletes demonstrating remarkable skill, composure, and competitive spirit across events.
