ROTI successfully conducted intensive Institutional Training to OAS DR-2023 batch
– Chief Secretary Ms. Garg highlights three pillars of Viksit Odisha 2036 – Samruddhi, Swasthya, Samaveshi
– Focussed on 7-S model of governance – Scale, Speed, Synergy, System, Sustainability, Service, Stakeholders.
– Ensure transparent and time bound delivery of public service : CS to OAS Probationers.
Bhubaneswar, May 2026 : The Revenue Officers’ Training Institute (ROTI), Gotha patana hosted the valedictory ceremony on 2nd May 2026 for the Odisha Administrative Service DR-2023 batch. The event marking the successful completion of their intensive Institutional Training was presided over by the Chief Secretary of Odisha, Smt. Anu Garg. The 4 weeks long Institutional Training Programme of the 30 OAS probationers who had joined to undergo training under R.O.T.I. was scheduled from 6th April 2026 to 2nd May 2026.
Addressing the probationers, Chief Secretary Smt. Anu Garg emphasized the evolving role of civil servants in the era of Viksit Odisha. She stressed on the 3 pillars of the Vision- 2036 namely “Samruddhi, Swasthya and Samaveshi”. She urged them to ensure transparent and timebound delivery of public service following the 7-S model of governance that are Scale, Speed, Synergy, System, Sustainability, Service and Stakeholders.
The Additional Chief Secretary, R & DM deptt. Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee also graced the occasion by his presence and motivated the probationers to ensure that governance remains humane by acting with Integrity, leading with Professionalism and serving with Sensitivity.
The Director, R.OT.I. Sri Diganta Routroy in his welcome address highlighted the role of OAS officers in Land and Development administration which are key to the growth of the state.
During the event, certificates of training completion and appreciation were given to the probationers. Two senior Resource Persons were felicitated by the Chief Secretary. Senior officers from the R & DM deptt., officers of R.O.T.I. and 74 nos of ORS (DR) 2023 batch probationers, presently undergoing Induction Training at the institute were present in the event and were inspired by the insightful words of the dignitaries.
