Energy Minister Meghna Sakore-Bordikar Calls for Speedy Work on 220 KV Substation at DhotreBy Team DGIPR – May 12, 2026
Mumbai, May 2026 : Energy Minister of State Meghna Sakore-Bordikar has directed that the proposed 220 KV substation at Mouje Dhotre, Taluka Parner, District Ahilyanagar should be taken up for execution at the earliest and its construction work be expedited.
She was speaking at a review meeting held at MSRDC Nirmal Bhavan regarding the proposed 220 KV substation at Mouje Dhotre and the establishment of a new substation at Mouje Vankute, Taluka Parner, District Ahilyanagar.
The meeting was attended by MLA Kashinath Date, Director of MahaTransco Satish Chavan, Executive Director Dhananjay Autekar, Executive Engineer Yogesh Chavan, along with senior officials from the department.
During the meeting, MLA Date raised several issues related to the energy department in the constituency. In response, Minister Sakore-Bordikar instructed the concerned officials to take immediate cognisance and resolve the pending issues without delay.
She also directed that necessary instructions be issued to contractors to ensure the speedy completion of ongoing works under the energy department.
The Minister emphasised that timely execution of infrastructure projects is essential to strengthen the power supply network and improve reliability in the region.
