Public Grievance Redressal Camps Held in Baloda, Nariyara, and Kumharikala

1,625 Applications Received; Beneficiaries Extended Benefits Under Various Government Schemes

Raipur, June 2026 : In line with the vision of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Public Grievance Redressal Camps are being organized across the state under the Good Governance Festival (Sushasan Tihar) to ensure the prompt resolution of public grievances and to deliver the benefits of government welfare schemes to the last person in society.

As part of this initiative, Public Grievance Redressal Camps were organized today in Gram Panchayat Kumharikala under Bamhnidih Janpad Panchayat, as well as in Baloda and Nariyara Nagar Panchayats of Janjgir-Champa district. A large number of rural and urban residents participated in the camps and submitted applications related to their demands and grievances.

Through stalls set up by various government departments, citizens were provided detailed information about public welfare and beneficiary-oriented schemes. Eligible beneficiaries were also extended benefits under various government programmes.

During the camps, essential documents and materials, including new ration cards, Ayushman cards, labour cards, Kisan Kitabs, B-1 Khasra documents, voter identity cards, Nano DAP, and other important documents, were distributed. Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), beneficiaries were provided cheques and certificates.

Beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) were handed symbolic keys, marking an important step toward fulfilling their dream of owning permanent homes.

Programmes organized by the Women and Child Development Department included God Bharai (traditional baby shower ceremonies for pregnant women) and Annaprashan ceremonies for children. On the occasion, public representatives, officials, employees, and citizens took a pledge to build a child marriage-free society.

A special health camp was also organized during the event, where citizens received various healthcare services, including X-ray examinations, blood pressure testing, diabetes screening, sickle cell testing, and haemoglobin tests.

A total of 1,625 applications were received at the camp organized in Gram Panchayat Kumharikala, including 1,578 requests and 47 complaints. All applications have been forwarded to the concerned departments for quality resolution within the prescribed timeframe.
